Still Stickin With It

It has been a crazy busy month, so this is my first post of the new year.  Dad had a stroke on January 3rd, so it has been work and hospitals and rehab center every day.  I can't say that I have been sticking to my diet the way I should, but I haven't really cheated.  I haven't been drinking the water or eating all of my medifast meals because I just always seem to be on the go, but I've only been eating my one lean and green a day. Not measuring it the way I should, but I'm doing ok anyway.  I had hoped to be in the 2teens when  my sister came down to visit, but I'm really close, so no complaints!

Ending this year with a great head start on a healthier happier New Year!

I made it through the holidays with only a small weight gain from a delicious Christmas Eve/Christmas Day Dinner.  Mainly, I was so happy that I got through the holidays without eating any cakes/candies/pies, etc. So, as you can see, no drop in weight for the past couple weeks, but, thanks to the flu, I am back where I started at the middle of the month!

My January Goal:  219 - maybe I'm pushing it a bit, but I'm going to give it my all!!!

Losing W8 and Feeling Gr8 (ok, well I'll feel great once I'm over the flu!)

ON MY WAY!!!

Well, I can't say it hasn't been challenging to Medifast through the holiday, but I've been doing pretty darn good!  Down to 232.8 and, as you can see from the picture below, you can really see the difference in my belly.  I felt like I was getting ready to explode when I started dieting, and now my pants are falling off.  What a GREAT FEELING!!

Stickin with it

Well, I can't say I'm not disappointed. I only lost .6 this week and I didn't have a single bite more than allowed.  In fact, on 2 occasions I didn't get through my lean and green because I was just too tired (working a lot).  But, that is just the way of things sometimes and I am logical enough to know that I can't continue eating 850 calories a day and NOT lose weight. So, next week will probably be a good one.

I plan to stay on plan even through Thanksgiving dinner.  My husband, who is starting MF next month, is totally cool about my not making potatoes, suffing, and dessert. So, I think it will be a good holiday for me!

Can't wait for my new shipment of stuff!

Work, work, work, work.

I've been working so much this week I haven't had time to post.  However, I am doing great on MF!  Lost another 4.4 this week for a total of 17.2 lbs in 2 weeks.  Working definitely helps with the diet because I don't have time to think about being hungry.  Fridays are hard though because I work 2 jobs that day and don't get to my lean and green meal until close to 11 pm.  The REALLY nice thing now is I have less than 100 lbs to go!  On my way to Skinny me!

What a Wonderful Week!

Well, it's official...after just one week on the Medifast diet I have lost a total of 13.2 pounds.  Amazing - can't wait for next week.  I realize a lot of this is water weight, so I'm not going to weigh myself every single day, but stick to 2 or 3 times a week for a little while. 

Can't wait for my Medifast crab soup to get here!

It's Day Five and I'm Still Alive!!!

Day 5 on Medifast and I have lost 10.2 pounds!!!  So far this week has been easier than any diet I've ever been on.  The 6 daily meals (5 medifast and 1 lean and green) keep you from getting crazy hungry and I've actually liked a lot of the foods.  Tonight I used the Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal (which I wasn't particularly fond of) to make the Oatmeal Cookies (recipe on side of box) and ya know what....they didn't suck! 

I know this weekend will be the challenge because I will be home.  During the week I'm at work and I've been working some long hours.  Doesn't give me much time to think about food.  I'll have to make myself busy this weekend for sure.

I just can't WEIGHT TO BE THIN!
